I love critters! I used to study them in my former career as a biologist. Now I just try to make the world a better place for them. Each of my blockprint series highlights species that I think are unique, fascinating, and worthy of attention.
I'm still in the process of creating inventory, but if there's a series you're interested in purchasing, feel free to email me at blockprintbestiary@gmail.com
I live in the weird wet town of Olympia, Washington. Oly is known for it's creative, artistic, and counterculture spirit.
I purchase my materials from local craft stores and print on reused or upcycled fabrics. I sew the flags using my grandmother's featherweight sewing machine made in 1948, an era predating planned obsolescence and plastic components. It will undoubtedly outlive me.
Each of the prints can be purchased on its own, or come in a series of 6. Click on the different series below to learn more about the critters.
This site is still in development, but a way to purchase things will be available soon!
Vultures are unsung heroes and the OG recyclers. This series includes portraits of six of my favorite badass buzzards.

Higlighting conservation success stories of species that we've brought back from the edge of extinction.
